Citroën is returning in style for the 50th edition of the prestigious Rétromobile motor show. On a 512 m² area, it is showcasing more than a century of its history, design and technological innovation through seven exceptional concepts. The star of the exhibition is the new ELO concept, which is making its debut before the French public.
The ELO embodies the brand’s modern vision of mobility. It is a fully electric, compact yet extremely spacious model with a length of 4.10 m and a capacity for up to six people. Thanks to its modular interior, it adapts to work, leisure and family use. The centrally positioned driver’s seat and 180° panoramic windscreen refer to the futuristic Karin concept (1980), while the shared space philosophy follows on from the family-oriented Xanae model (1994). The ELO also uses recycled materials and continues the ecological line established by the C-Cactus concept (2007).
Alongside ELO, Citroën is also exhibiting historical milestones of its creativity:

2 CV A (1939) – the predecessor of the legendary 2CV model, a symbol of affordable mobility.

C10 (1956) – an aerodynamic concept nicknamed the “water drop”.

Another significant attraction is the return of the rare Traction Avant 15-6 Cabriolet from 1939, which was already exhibited at the first Rétromobile in 1976. In Paris, Citroën is clearly demonstrating that its identity is based on the courage to experiment, to bring comfort and to make mobility accessible to the widest possible range of people – today as it was a hundred years ago.
